1. Who we are
Laawol Digital LLC (“Laawol,” “we,” or “us”) operates a platform that connects customers with registered businesses for shipping, vehicles, freight, food, and other services. This policy applies to the Laawol app, Laawol Digital websites, and related services.
2. Data we collect
Account and contact information
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, role, business name, and profile information.
Requests, orders, and content
We process information you provide for a request or transaction, including pickup and delivery addresses, vehicle and title information, recipients, messages, documents, photos, and support requests.
Location
With your permission, the app may use precise location to help fill a pickup or delivery address. You can decline or withdraw that permission in your device settings.
Payments and history
We retain amounts, statuses, receipts, refunds, and transaction identifiers needed for tracking. Full card details are entered and processed by Stripe; Laawol does not receive your full card number.
Device, security, and diagnostics
We may process account or device identifiers, notification tokens, security data, crash reports, and performance information to protect and improve the service.
3. How we use data
- Create and secure your account.
- Send and manage requests, quotes, orders, payments, refunds, and tracking.
- Enable registered businesses to provide the service you requested.
- Send notifications and respond to support requests.
- Prevent fraud, enforce our rules, and meet legal obligations.
- Diagnose failures and improve platform reliability.
4. When data is shared
We share data only when necessary: with the business selected to fulfill your request; with providers that host, secure, or process our services; with authorities when legally required; or as part of a legitimate business transaction. Our main providers include Google Firebase for authentication, data hosting, notifications, and diagnostics; Stripe for payments; and Anthropic when authorized users choose AI-assisted business-advisor features.
We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-app behavioral advertising.
5. Artificial intelligence
Some optional professional features may send requested content to an AI provider to produce a summary or suggestion. We limit those transfers to content needed for the request and do not use it for advertising.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep data while your account is active and as needed to provide services, handle disputes, prevent fraud, and meet tax, accounting, or legal duties. You can start account deletion from Settings in the app. We then delete or anonymize associated data that we are not legally required to keep within 30 days. Required transaction records may be retained with restricted access.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update your profile, manage device permissions, opt out of nonessential notifications, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data. Email hello@laawoldigital.com. We may verify your identity before responding.
8. Children
Laawol is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek their personal data. Contact us if you believe a child provided data to us.
9. Security and transfers
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No system is completely secure. Our providers may process data in other countries with protections required by applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as our services or obligations change. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
